good base miles

rode with Drew, Heather, and Ben, south and then east out to Menden Pond. 45 miles in 2:45, some nice easy base miles. The day was beautiful--hard to ask for better riding weather. had a few near encounters with squirrels and groundhogs (at least the latter don't change direction after running in front of you), but no one got hurt.

also played ultimate later in the day, around 4pm. approx 1:00, good cross training, I suppose, but crappy pick-up ultimate.
